Where possible try to walk a little more each day (this could be walking instead of driving somewhere or just getting up and walking around during your breaks at work) By doing a little extra activity each day will help you burn calories for longer and can release endorphins which will help you feel positive.
- Exercise should be a celebration of what your body can do and be fun! It should not be a punishment for your food choices. (It will seem like a chore if you feel negatively towards it)
- To keep yourself motivated write down your driving forces, remind yourself regularly and dig deep to achieve your goals.
- HIIT (High intensity interval training) is a great method of training that can aid weight loss and you can achieve this in as little as 10 minutes per day!
- When training alone pop your favourite music on. It can really help to motivate you and keep your mood lifted.
